Learn to read the body, build a session with intention and hold what surfaces, through real practice and feedback. Two online levels, then eight days in Bali, 9 to 16 May 2027.
“Helping others do mad things with their bodies.”The Metro
Somatic Dance Academy is a three-level training that begins online and culminates in eight days in Bali: a complete journey from inner exploration to certified facilitation.
Levels One and Two form the online foundation. You'll explore the practice deeply from the inside, learning to move, witness and hold space for others through weekly live sessions and self-paced material you can return to at any time.
Level Three is the immersion. Eight days together in Bali, 9 to 16 May 2027, where everything you've learned moves from understanding into embodied skill.
You'll facilitate real sessions, work with the body under guidance, and leave with the confidence, depth and certification to take this work into the world.
“I’ve grown so quickly over a short period of time. I didn’t expect somatic dance to reach me the way it did. It bypassed everything my mind had put up as a barrier.”
Camilla · Inner Journey (Level 1) student
“It was much more than a dance class… it was a journey of awareness and self-expression.”
Ludo · Inner Journey (Level 1) student
The yoga teacher, therapist or healer who wants movement in her practice but doesn't know how to hold it properly.
The woman who already knows this work from the inside and is ready to learn how to guide others through it.
The practitioner whose intuition is strong but who wants real skill and structure behind what she senses in the room.
The woman who is tired of winging it after a session and wants to walk in knowing: I know what I'm doing.
You want to lead 1:1 sessions. Groups. Workshops. Retreats.
And you want to do it in a way that feels genuinely like yours.
A practice of listening to the body's own intelligence
Somatic Dance is a practice of listening to the body and allowing what is held beneath the surface to be experienced and expressed through movement.
Rather than directing people towards a particular outcome, the practice creates space to notice what is present, what the body is communicating and what may be ready to move.
A Somatic Dance journey is carefully considered, while leaving room to respond to what emerges.
As a facilitator, you develop the ability to recognise these moments, work with the body in front of you and guide people through their experience rather than around it. Interwoven and layered throughout the experience, you create a journey that allows participants to move beyond the surface and begin uncovering their layers.
Your ability to listen, respond and follow what is unfolding brings an intuitive quality to your facilitation. This allows you to develop a practice that feels genuinely like your own.
Your ability to listen, observe and respond is what brings the practice to life.
somatics · dance · breathwork · meditation · reiki · personal development
Those are ingredients.
But mastery is knowing
how to make the cake.
Two online levels prepare you. Bali is where it becomes real.
You practice.
You facilitate.
You get observed.
You receive feedback.
You learn to see.
You learn to trust what you see.
And you learn what to do with it.
Because mastery requires reps.
Read the body.
Recognise what a person's body is communicating before they've found the words for it.
Choose with intention.
Know which music, pace, prompt or pause to offer, not guessing. Responding.
Hold space when it goes somewhere unexpected.
Stay present and skilled when something real surfaces in the room. Not panic. Presence.
Facilitate transformation.
Not just an experience, an actual shift. Learn the difference and how to create it.
Integrate what happened.
Support people after the session ends. Because a powerful experience is one thing. Living differently is another.
Lead the room.
Bring your skill into 1:1 work, groups, workshops, retreats and the offerings you are here to create.
The in-person immersion is where everything comes together. Eight days of deep facilitation practice, held in Bali, with the land and the pace of the place as part of the experience.
Root & Sacral
Settling in. Creating the container. Deep somatic work. Rooted & Creative.
Solar & Heart

Arrive & open
Practice for the body. Space to arrive fully before anything is asked of you.
Facilitation training
Guided somatic dance teaching methodology.
Partner work & 1:1 practice
Working in pairs and small groups to develop the skill of reading the person in front of you: their body, their breath, what they are not yet saying.
Circle & integration
Live practice leading sessions for the group. Learning by doing, not just observing. We close the day in circle, sharing what moved, what opened, what is still settling. Time to rest, reflect and let the day land before the next.
Every day has a different energy. This is a rough shape, not a timetable.

Pip has been dancing since the age of two and teaching since she was nineteen. She trained through the Legat School of Ballet professional programme, studied choreography with Siobhan Davies as part of her degree, performed with Candoco Dance Company, and co-founded AcroYogaDance in London, teaching thousands of students. Her work was described as “mesmerising, hypnotic even” by the Evening Standard.
She has headlined at the OM Yoga Show, taught at Wanderlust and Bestival, led workshops for Lululemon, Adidas Women and Sweaty Betty, and performed at Wembley Stadium for an audience of 70,000.
After a year unable to move with a back injury, and a period of grief, dance became her way of feeling and releasing what words couldn’t reach. Over six years in Bali she shaped that into Somatic Dance: a method that layers movement, breath, meditation, sound and personal development into a structured journey. Personal development has been part of her life since she was 27, including most of Tony Robbins’ courses and part of his Leadership Academy.
People come to her sessions feeling disconnected or stuck in their heads. They leave feeling alive, open and seen. This training teaches you to create that for others.
